I have been trying to get just a weekend get away using my points with festiva, but they are always booked! Today they give me a call and say, "It's your lucky day, as a festiva owner. You have been chosen for a 5 day, 4 night get away, what location would you like to visit?" When I asked how much, they said it's just $99.00 and you have 18 months to use it.

Well, I have 6000 points, how about you let me use some of them? If I don't find a time I can go, I'm going to loose 3000 of them. Every time I look for a weekend or even a week that is convenient to me, they are booked solid. When I call and pretend to be looking for the same week, they have plenty of availability.

I can't believe they had the audacity to ask for $99?

My advice - if you are thinking about buying in - RUN!

Monetary Loss: $20000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Deceieptful they sell you on vacations but no availibilty.

same issue here. horrible stay at myrtle beach, had to argue all week, got points back, yep, good one, they were put in saved status.

so needless to say those 5000 pts are gone. get same call offering super package for 99.00 but
