Festiva took over our Escape timeshare. They handed our loan over to another one of their companies called Zelandia Capital. Zelandia Capital tried present themselves as a independent loan company. However we later found out this is Festive trying to hind their name. Zelandia Capital offered what was called a deed in lieu to release us of our timeshare. We paid them over $300 to be released. We have been waiting over a year and we have still not been released. The guy representing Zelandia (Festiva) Joe, said that Zelandia was in a legal dispute over the release.

One of the lady over the HOA said that Zelandia was never given permission to offer these releases. Now we do not know what to do... We have been told to file a complaint to the Attorney General of North Carolina against Zelandia Capital for improper business practices.

If you google Festiva class action lawsuits, you will see all the names of their companies.

THERE HAS TO BE AN END TO THIS MADNESS!!!

Monetary Loss: $9000.

Location: Orange Beach, Alabama

Zelandia is a separate company, an LLC to be exact. I worked for Festiva selling "travel" packages & eventually had a internal check over ethics.

I couldn't do it any longer. However, I understand your problem.

You need to tell Festiva, not Zelandia, that you intend to take them to court. You will allow them 30 days to release you from your contract. You should offer them $2 hundred dollars more if you can, or if you cannot tell them you have no money to continue payments & are claiming bankruptcy.

This will get them moving.

It's very difficult to be released unless you do it within a week, according to policy in the State of South Carolina. I don't know where you purchased your package.

We purchased ours in Orlando in 2008. How do I get out?? They promised they would sell it for us if we didn't want it anymore or couldn't pay it.
